Richard J. Curran

Richard J. Curran possesses nearly 40 years of legal experience and currently handles a broad array of criminal defense and administrative matters. A former police officer in Los Angeles and Orange counties, Mr. Curran brings a unique perspective to his practice that helps him analyze how criminal charges are investigated and how evidence is gathered. His reputation in the legal community has earned him Martindale-Hubbell's prestigious "AV" rating, which signifies the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards. Since 1980 he has sat as a Referee in Orange County Juvenile Court on an as needed basis, handling both delinquency and abused children cases.  In 2008, the West Orange County Bar Association named Mr. Curran "Attorney of the Year," and in 2010 the North Orange County Bar Association honored him with the same distinction.

Outside of his practice, Mr. Curran enjoys participating in several bar associations in the area. Since 1978, he has taught Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, Administration, and Criminal Justice at California State University at Fullerton.

William G. Watson

Attorney William G. Watson possesses nearly 40 years of legal experience and focuses his practice on criminal defense and family law matters. A former Orange County Prosecutor, Mr. Watson understands how district attorneys try to secure convictions and uses this unique perspective to his clients' advantage. He has particular expertise in homicide cases, handling more than nine cases to conclusion and three through a jury trial, and judges in Orange County have selected him for more than 15 years to the OC Homicide Panel. His exceptional reputation in the legal community is also evidenced by the fact that his peers have honored him with Martindale-Hubbell's prestigious "AV" rating, which signifies the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards. Additionally, since 1980, Mr. Watson has sat as a Referee in Orange County Juvenile Court on an as needed basis, handling both delinquency and abused children cases.  He is also a past adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at Cal State Fullerton.
